This page is my running diary from 1996, the year I turned 39. Training was less than ideal as I was working too much overtime and missed many days. There were 113 days when I didn't run. I ran 2,704 km - an average 52 km per week. My best results during 1996 were: 800m - 2:27.9, 1500m - 4:59.4, 3000m - 10:46.0, 5000m - 18:59.0, 2k Steeplechase - 8:00.5, 3k Steeplechase - 12:33.0, 3000m Walk - 16:59.8, 5k road - 19:13, 10k road - 39:33, Half Marathon - 85:12, 12k Cross Country - 50:38, City to Surf 14k - 58:18. |
