This page is my running diary from 1982, the year I turned 25. For the first 5 months I wasn't running while I completed a training course in Sydney. I worked briefly in Sydney then moved to Canberra in July. I resumed running on 4 September. My best race during 1982 was the Weston Creek 7.25k Fun Run held in November which I ran in 30:45 (4:14/km). |

I was no longer a marathoner! I wanted to improve at shorter distances. My rapid advancement to marathon running in 1981 was the underlying reason for the knee injury and my temporary retirement from running. |
