Inspiration for the site: Charlie Modrak, the creator and first editor of 'Tuggie Athlete' deserves a mention as do successors Amanda Carey and John Payne. John coaxed articles from many members. The most prolific of these was Jim Tucker who interviewed numerous local running identities and was the athletics correspondent for SportsACT.
