Financial Support
Club policy (under review) is that financial support is available for junior and senior club members selected in ACT teams (including officials) for Open and All-Schools National Championships and other interstate, national and international events, as approved by the committee from time to time. A written application must be made no later than two months after the competition. The degree of support can be up to 50% of individual team fares and accommodation costs as a maximum, depending upon the number of athletes to be supported, cost and time to time availability of club funds.

Vikings Elite Athlete Development Fund
This is a joint venture between SCT and the Tuggeranong Valley Rugby Union & Amateur Sports Club. The purpose of the fund is to assist those athletes who are attempting to make the transition to the open elite level in athletics. The eligibility criteria for membership of the VEADF can be seen here.

Education Scholarships
Limited access to applications for TVRUASC (Tuggeranong Valley Rugby Union & Amateur Sports Club) affiliated club sporting scholarships at college and tertiary education levels is available by application through SCTAC in Dec/Jan each year. Generally, applications seek evidence of satisfactory academic performance and sporting participation with SCTAC. Applications recommended by SCTAC are forwarded to TVRUASC where they are considered in competition with applications from other TVRUASC affiliated clubs. Contact Jane McGlew for further details.
